Welcome to Sentrym Support

To connect to a Bluetooth device, click Settings and go into Bluetooth Settings. Make sure the toggle is set to "ON" and your device will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices. Once the device that you would like to connect to appears on the list to the right, simply click and pair with it.

If you aren't able to find the device you are looking for, click on the Refresh Device button on the top right hand side. Make sure that the device that you're trying to connect to is also broadcasting a Bluetooth signal or in pairing mode.

The Sentrym L1 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.

To connect to a Wi-Fi network, click Settings and go into Networking Settings > Wi-Fi Setting. Make sure the toggle is set to "ON" and the list will automatically display nearby Wi-Fi sources. Click on the connection that you would like to connect to & enter in the password, then click Link.

Definitely! You'll just have to make sure your phone's hotspot is enabled and broadcasting the SSID and the rest is the same as connecting to any regular Wi-Fi network. For more information on how to enable hotspot on your phone, please refer to your phone's user manual.

In order to use the Google Play Store, you must be connected to Wi-Fi and be signed in to a Google account.

Certain applications may not be found within the Google Play Store due to Region, DRM, Version compatibility, or other reasons. When that happens, there is a secondary installation method which you can use to sideload the application directly onto your dashboard.

All you have to do is install the APK directly onto the projector disk space (using the in-projector browser), or download the APK onto your PC and transfer it onto a USB flash drive to insert into the projector. We recommend using APK websites such as APKMirror

From the home screen, select Settings & go into Other Settings > Apps & Notifications. Expand the full app list by clicking See all apps and you'll have access to all the apps installed on your device.

To uninstall an app, simply click inside the app that you would like to remove and select Uninstall.

Note: Certain key apps, however, may not be uninstalled and disabling them may cause performance issues with your device.

  1. Before playing 3D videos, please turn off Horizontal Keystone Correction and Screen Zoom inside Settings.
  2. Open the "Movie Player" app, then open the video that you wish to play in 3D. Select the 3D option in the menu bar and select the appropriate 3D mode.

Note: 3D glasses are not included with the projector, but you can use any active shutter 3D glasses for the projector.

In order to enable screen mirroring using iPhone (iOS) system, you will need to enable Screen Mirroring on your iPhone. To start:

  1. Your iOS device and projector both need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. In the absence of a Wi-Fi network, you can connect the iOS device to the hotspot of the projector instead.
  2. On the Home Screen of the projector, select AirPlay.
  3. Open the Screen Mirroring function on your iOS device and search and connect to the device name shown in the AirPlay menu on the projector screen (eg. EShare-####).

In order to enable screen mirroring from your Android system, you will need to enable the Miracast app. To start:

  1. Your Android device and the L1 projector both need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On the Home Screen, click on your App Center and start the Miracast application.
  3. On your Android device, download the Miracast app and open the device.
  4. Connect to the device name shown on the projector screen on the bottom left corner.

In order to connect to your iPad / tablet / windows computer, you'll need to use the EShare application. To start:

  1. Both your device and projector needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On the Home Screen on the L1, click on EShare.
  3. Follow the steps & select the device type that you wish to connect to.
  4. Now on your corresponding device (iPad / tablet / computer), download and install the EShare application.
  5. Enter the EShare app & search for the device name of the projector.

You can download the EShare application via the iOS App Store / Google Play Store, or if you're on your Windows or Apple Macbook computer, then download the application via the EShare website.

To manage your files, you'll need to use the File Browser application  on the projector. You can manage your files by inserting your USB Flash Drive or TF Card in the projector, then enter the File Browser application.

The Sentrym L1 supports SD cards up to 32GB formatted in either ExFat or NTFS. After inserting the SD card into your projector, you'll be able to view its content within the File Browser application on your home page.

Although the Sentrym L1 is capable of receiving 4K signals, you will have to set the default video output on your console to Automatic instead of a manual preset. This will fix the no-display issue.

Currently, over 50 languages and dialects are supported, including:  Chinese, Danish, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, and more.

Keystone Correction (Vertical)

In the Home Screen, select Settings, then go to Projection Setting > Keystone Correction Vertical. By default, this is set to Auto, but you can also choose to adjust the setting manually.

Keystone Correction (Horizontal)

In the Home Screen, select Settings, then go to Projection Setting > Keystone Correction Horizontal. To enable horizontal keystone, switch the Open option to ON, and you'll be able to adjust the setting manually. You can also choose to make Multi-Angle Adjustments.

To factory reset your projector, enter the Settings menu from the home screen and go into Other Settings > System > Advanced > Reset Options > Erase all Data (Factory Reset) > RESET PHONE.

The factory reset will commence and your device will restart once the factory reset is complete.

You can! We recommend our customers to use a power bank with their projector to get the most out of your TV & movies. Alternatively, you can keep the L1 plugged in to an outlet too for endless entertainment.  

As long as your power source is able to supply 5V 3.0A via a microUSB connection, then your power bank or your solar powered generator will work!

Certainly! The portable size of the Sentrym L1 is perfect for this purpose. You'll be able to project around a 60" display based on standard ceiling heights.

If you have a generic USB mouse or keyboard, it will most likely work. However, if you have a gaming mouse or keyboard, or an accessory that requires special drivers to be installed to work, then unfortunately, you won't be able to just plug it into the projector.
